Kali Mata Temples
The main and most revered Kali temple in India is the Kalighat Kali Temple in Kolkata, West Bengal, which is one of the 51 sacred Shakti Peethas, believed to mark the spot where Goddess Sati's right toe fell. Other prominent and highly worshipped temples include the Dakshineswar Kali Temple (Kolkata), Kamakhya Temple (Assam), and Kalkaji Temple (New Delhi).
